Chief Executive Officer of The Caribbean Examination Council ,CXC, Dr. Wayne Wesley said the council will be implementing measures aimed at improving the performance of candidates in Mathematics.
This, as Math continues to be an area of low performance.
Less than 50% of students in the region who sat this year’s CXC math exam, received a passing grade.
Speaking during a CXC press conference on Thursday, Dr. Wesley said specific capacity building activities aimed at Math teachers and students will be introduced.
