Entertainment Personality, Yanique 'Curvy Diva' Barrett, has responded to reports published today that she's facing charges of simple larceny, housebreaking, and malicious destruction of property.
According to the report, the charges stemmed from an incident at a business establishment located on Dunrobin Avenue in St Andrew in July 2023.
In a statement she noted that she was formally charged yesterday. However, upon advice by her lawyer she will not be discussing the matter at this time.
She said the landlord of the former location of her establishment is at the center of this unwarranted situation.
Barrett is scheduled to appear before the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court on Thursday, December 12.
