CURFEWS IMPOSED IN MOUNTAIN VIEW, KINGSTON AND WATERFORD, ST. CATHERINE

In the wake of the gruesome murders of three family members in Waterford St. Catherine on the weekend, a curfew has been imposed on the community.

Police theorize that the shooting was gang related and are following strong leads.

The curfew began at 6:00pm yesterday and will remain in effect until 6:00pm tomorrow.

The boundaries of the curfew include Caymanas Drive, Caymanas Park, Adair Drive, Dyke Road and Passage Fort Drive.

Meanwhile, another curfew has been imposed, this time in sections of Mountain View in Kingston 3.

The curfew began at 6:00pm yesterday and will remain in effect until 6:00pm December 4.

The boundaries of the curfew cover Bunny View Avenue, Mountain View Primary School, Hampstead Avenue, Mountain View Avenue, Langston Road and Deanery Road.

During the hours of the curfew all persons within the boundaries are required to remain within their premises unless authorized.
