A 72-hour curfew has been imposed in the Denham Town, Kingston 14 area of the Kingston Western Police Division.
The curfew began at 6:00 p.m., today and will remain in effect until 6:00 p.m., on Saturday, April 29.
The boundaries of the curfew include Race course (Blount Street), Little King Street, Williams Street ,Upper Rose Lane, Beeston Street and a section of Spanish Town road.
The Police say the aim of the operation is to arrest wanted men, dismantle, disrupt and deny gangs freedom of movement, search for and seize illegal guns, ammunition, and contraband and restore public order
and public confidence.
