A curfew that has been imposed within the St. Andrew South Division has been extended for another 48-hours.
The curfew began at 12:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 23, and will remain in effect until 12:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 25.
The boundaries of the curfew includes sections of Chisholm Avenue/Maxfield Avenue, Marcus Garvey Drive, Duhaney River, sections of Kingston Harbour & the Happy Grove community .
During the hours of the curfew, persons within the boundaries of the curfew are required to remain indoors unless otherwise authorized by the person in charge of enforcing the curfew.
