Penwood High school in Kingston has been forced to close after a member of staff tested positive for COVID-19.
The school’s chairman, Gregory Pullen said the teacher has been isolating for a week after she began experiencing symptoms of the virus.
He said the school is taking direction from the Ministry of Health in terms of contact tracing and any other measures required.
