The number of people hospitalized with Covid-19 continues to rise, with a 9-year-old being among the most recent recorded deaths.
There are currently 65 people in hospitals with the illness, up from 52 on Sunday.
A 9-year-old girl from St. Elizabeth died in April, while a 94-year-old man and a 74-year-old woman from St. Catherine also died last year.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health has recorded 166 new Covid-19 cases, with an 18.4% positive rate.
There are 108 females and 58 males among the new cases.
They are between the ages of 20 and 90.
With 37 new cases, Kingston and St. Andrew is the parish with the most new cases, followed by St. James with 36.
