Staff and students at the Vere Technical High School in Clarendon are in a sombre mood, following the death of a student.
17-year-old student Devonte Johnson and two others were killed in a motor vehicle accident in Lionel Town in the parish on Saturday.
6 other persons including another from the school are in hospital.
Guidance Counsellor at the Vere Technical High School, Tamika Mills Johnson said Devonte, who was a promising Grade 11 engineering student, was slated to sit his CXC exams this month.
She says grief counselling is being offered to students and staff at the school.
