Constable Andrew Wilson, charged with murder in the shooting death of Granville resident Latoya “Buju” Bulgin, has had his case moved from the St James Parish Court to the Circuit Court.
Wilson’s $1-million bail was extended, and he is scheduled to appear in the Circuit Court on Monday for a case management hearing.
The transfer followed the entry of a nolle prosequi, ending proceedings at the parish level and moving the matter directly to the Circuit Court.
Bulgin was killed during a protest in May, with CCTV footage showing a police officer firing into the vehicle where she was seated.
