The regional governing body for football CONCACAF, has indicated that the Competition's Committee of the Jamaica Football Federation JFF, is to rule on the protest lodged by premier league champions and Caribbean Cup winners Cavalier against league leaders Mount Pleasant.

The JFF is still to announce a ruling on the protest lodged on Tuesday of this week, with less than 24 hours before kick-off, for the final round of matches, which will determine the automatic semi final qualifiers, the team for the sixth play off spot and the second team for relegation.

Reports are that CONCACAF was consulted on the protest, but the announcement of the ruling, is the remit of the JFF.

Meanwhile, there are further reports that another club, Molynes United, has also lodged an appeal, on the same grounds as that of Cavalier.

This protest was reportedly handed in yesterday (Fri).
