Commish Says Refusal of Domestic Abuse Victim Under Investigation

Police Commissioner Major General Antony Anderson has expressed concern, about domestic violence cases that did not get the requisite response from some police officers.
This in the wake of public outrage, after reports emerged that a woman who went to a police station to seek assistance after curfew, was turned away.
Speaking at a virtual press conference on Wednesday, Commissioner Anderson said these and other related matters are under investigation.
He sought to reassure the public, that the police force takes domestic violence issues very seriously.
