Classes at the Holmwood Technical High School in Manchester were dismissed this morning following the fatal shooting of a man on the school’s compound.
The deceased, Rohan Gentles, otherwise called ‘Scooga,’ was a driver employed by the school.
Reports indicate that at about 8:40 A.M., students were disembarking from the bus which was parked on the school grounds, when the driver was approached by armed men who opened gunfire at him.
The Police were summoned and he was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead
Councillor for the Christiana Division, Oneil Evans, has condemned the murder that occurred on the school grounds.
