Chronixx Reminds ‘The Jamaican Music Community’ of his Independence

Share

Reggae artiste Chronixx had a message to share on Saturday and directed it towards the 'Jamaican music community all over the world'.

The 'Love is on the Mountain' singer wanted to remind everyone that "there is no such thing as 'I have a link to Chronixx'" saying that such links do'nt exist. He went on to share that all his professional relationships are "contractual and open", saying that he is "more independent than you can imagine", confirming that all of his engagements are directly signed off on by him.

As to what brought on the announcement, Chronixx clarified that the message is directed specifically at the Jamaican music community because it is the only one he is involved in getting "scammed by bad actors".
The artiste recently dropped his second studio album Exile after a musical hiatus spanning 8 years, following the critically-acclaimed Chronology in 2017. His return was excitedly received by fans and critics alike, with the 17-track project debuting at #5 on the Billboard Reggae Albums charts and temporarily unseating Bob Marley's Legend to hit #1 on the iTunes reggae charts.

Chronixx has long been outspoken about his independence as an artiste and dissatisfaction with many processes within the music industry, both locally and internationally.
