During an interview with the Breakfast Club this morning, Chole spoke about her relationship with and being compared to her mentor and music advisor, Beyonce and her success in the music industry.
“She’s really proud of me. But I just love her and I’m happy she sees this light inside of me and my sister as well.” When asked about the ‘baby Beyonce’ comparison, the 23-year-old added, “That’s the biggest compliment anyone could possibly give me, I have so much more work to do to even get there, even get an ounce of where she is. So it’s a huge compliment”.
Ever since the music video for her song “Have Mercy” dropped fans have been saying she is another Beyonce in the making.
To be fair, the music video accompanying “Have Mercy” does feature Tina Knowles, Beyonce’s mom, and some feel that the artwork for the single is similar to Beyonce’s ’03 cover of Dangerously in Love.
