Recording artist Desmond Méndez, more popularly known as Charley Blacks, shows love to his fellow entertainer.
According to reports coming out of Nairobi, Kenya, the Trelawny native performed at the NYE Glow Festival in the city, then immediately left to support fellow artiste, Konshens, who was performing at the Carnivore grounds in Nairobi. In what seemed like a surprise to Konshens and concert-goers, Charley took the stage and sang his hit single, ‘Party Animal’.
The deejay shared the moment on Instagram with the caption, “We both have shows in Kenya last weekend but my show finished before his so me and my team went to show our support not even intended to perform but just to be there and hold a vibe with him an his fans but he called me out to sing a one song and anybody knows me know that i show respect to those who show me respect plus me always a say unity with that been said the dancehall massive in Kenya Nairobi was very happy to see us on one stage together.”
A host of dancehall artistes showed their support of both artists who demonstrated unity as Jamaicans on the international stage.
Charley Blacks, who recently released his debut album “Rio Bueno”, also mentioned that fans can expect a collab with Konshen pretty soon.
