Cardi B Responds After Latto Confirms She Dissed Her on New Album

Latto confirms that a certain lyric in “Gimme Dat” off her new album is about Cardi B.

She was asked about their issues during a new interview with The Breakfast Club, which aired on Thursday (June 4) morning.

Latto then confirmed she hasn’t spoken to Cardi since the “ErrTime” remix was released in September 2025, but that she’s open to working things out.

Meanwhile, Cardi B claims she’s made multiple attempts to reach out to Latto to “take full responsibility” for calling Latto out her name in a leaked phone call.

“I truly understand how you feel…and that’s exactly why I chose to apologize publicly because the disrespect became public.”

She continued, “On that call I didn’t even mean to call you that, I didn’t mean any harm.. There’s a difference in what I said vs what I meant. What I could have said was you was too forgiving and gave too much mercy in that situation.. But it was a heated conversation and I let my mouth get the best of me.

On the song "Gimme Dat," Latto raps, "B- said what? Let's clock it / Really got a Hermes store in my closet / Talkin' 'bout buyin' big mama a bag like my dude ain't already bought it."

The lyrics reference a leaked audio clip from last fall that was alleged to feature a phone call between Cardi and Ice Spice's manager.
