According to Deadline, Cardi B has pulled out of a major movie role.
With just a week before production was set to start, the rapper exited the Paramount Players comedy ‘Assisted Living’. The rap star was set to play a low-level criminal on the run.
Paramount Players has since pulled the plug on the comedy project following Cardi’s exit. The $30 million film is produced by Temple Hill and was to be directed by Thembi Banks.
Other cast and crew were told the film has at least temporarily been scratched.
Cardi has starred in films like ‘Hustlers’ and ‘F9’; ‘Assisted Living’ would have been her first leading role in a movie.
