The "Bodak Yellow" rapper is getting ready to drop her first single of the year and fans are excited!
Cardi took to her Instagram yesterday (June 18) to make the announcement that her new track “Outside” will be released tomorrow (Friday, June 20).
The New York rapper also shared the cover art, which shows a sidewalk with water pouring from a fire hydrant. Can you say "summer vibes"!
A leaked snippet of the song suggests she’ll be opening up about her recent split from Offset. In the clip, she raps: “I’ve been cuffed up too long, let me remind [men].”
She also seems to be throwing jabs at Offset with a line about her new beau, NFL player Stefon Diggs: “Your favorite player on your favorite team, he in my DM.”
With lyrics like that, “Outside” sounds like it’ll be stirring problems but we love a good shade over here!
