Legendary artiste Capleton is feeling good about the success of DJ Khaled’s album “God Did.”

The ‘We The Best’ producer earned his fourth No. 1 album with “God Did”. The project moved 107,500 equivalent album units in the U.S. in its first week, ending of which album sales comprise 9,500.

Capleton, who features on the track These Streets Know My Name along with Skillibeng, Buju Banton, Bounty Killer, and Sizzla; said his aim when singing his verse was to ensure that the Jamaican culture could be embraced in a positive way.

The ‘Fireman’ believes that no matter what topic you decide to sing about, it’s important to make a mark when given the platform to do so. He also hopes that Jamaican music can bring hope to its people

These Streets Know My Name is the second collab that Capleton has done with DJ Khaled, with the other being 2021’s Where You Come From, also featuring Buju Banton and Bounty Killer.
