An emerging coalition of concerned women, men, gender and civil society organisations are urgently calling for PNP General Secretary, Dr Dayton Campbell, to step aside while investigations into allegations that he had sex with three minors are conducted.

In a statement this morning the group said it is outraged at the allegations made by three females who were alleged victims of Dr. Campbell, in a defence filed in the Supreme Court on May 13 by lawyers for Karen Cross.

The statements contained allegations that Dr. Campbell had sex with the females who were below the age of consent. They were made in response to a lawsuit filed by lawyers acting on behalf of Dr. Campbell and were witnessed by Justices of the Peace.

This comes on the heels of allegations that JLP Member of Parliament George Wright violently battered Tannisha Singh after their separate reports of physical altercation to the police on April 6 after video evidence of a man beating a woman emerged.
