A call is being made for citizens to donate blood to the island’s public hospitals.
Chief Executive Officer at the St Ann’s Bay Regional Hospital, Dennis Morgan said that blood is in short supply at the nation’s hospitals.
He noted that while a blood drive conducted at the hospital as part of its Labour Day activities saw a good turnout yesterday (May 23) blood is always needed in more abundant supplies.
