A California appeals court has upheld a $7.1 million judgment against rapper The Game in a long-running sexual battery lawsuit.
The court rejected his arguments over how he was notified of the legal proceedings, leaving the original judgment intact.
The case dates back to 2015, when Priscilla Rainey sued the rapper over an alleged incident during production of his reality series She’s Got Game.
Rainey has spent years pursuing payment, with collection efforts extending to The Game’s record label, royalties and Calabasas home.
