Singer, songwriter, percussionist and original member of reggae group ‘The Wailers’ Neville O Riley Livingston better known as ‘Bunny Wailer’ has passed.

Bunny died this morning at around 8 am at the Medical Associates Hospital in Kingston. Bunny had been in and out of hospital since his second stroke in July 2020. he was 73 years old.

Since the news broke on social media, several industry players have extended their condolences and sadness at the news, Lila Ike commented, “oh no”, Spice wrote, “fly high legend, sleep well”, Jesse Royal said, “crucial chapter of our story” just to mention a few.

Bunny Wailer is a three-time Grammy Award winner. In 1991 he won the award for Best Reggae Album, “Time Will Tell”, a tribute to Bob Marley. four years later, he won another Grammy for the album “Crucial Roots Classic’ and in 1997, his third Grammy was awarded for “Hall of Fame”, a tribute to Bob Marley’s 50th anniversary
