Soca Star Bunji Garlin has announced that he has decided to enter the carnival road march race this year.
This, after previously announcing his decision not compete.
Bunji pulled out last year, following controversy surrounding a road march judge who announced that she favoured Machel Montano to win the competition, days before the end of Trinidad carnival.
He also told reporters that some people are intent on pitting him against Machel Montano, another reason he was staying out of the race.
Now, Garlin is set to compete with the Xplicit Mevon–produced single "Still a Road Man". Soca lovers shared their excitement to Bunji's announcement.
Mevon was also the man behind Machel Montano’s Pardy, which won him his eleventh title last year.
