Buju, Koffee, Skip Marley Up for NAACP Awards

Jamaican reggae artistes Skip Marley, Buju Banton and Koffee are among the nominees for the 2021 NAACP Image Awards.
Skip Marley was nominated in the Outstanding New Artist category, thanks to the success of his debut EP, Higher Place which features the Billboard hit single Slow Down with R&B singer H.E.R.
Both Banton and Koffee were nominated in the same category for Outstanding International Song.
Buju’s single Blessed from his comeback album Upside Down 2020, will go up against Koffee’s summer anthem Lockdown.
The pair also picked up a nod for the remixed version of Pressure.
