Brittany Anderson of Jamaica has been named among five finalists for the 2019 Female Rising Star Award to recognize this year’s best Under 20 athlete.
The International Association of Athletics Federations IAAF announced the finalists yesterday (Mon) with less than three weeks to go until the World Athletics Awards 2019.
Anderson made the list as a result of her performance in the women’s 100m hurdles at a Grand Prix meeting in Finland on July 24 where she twice broke the world Under 20 record.
