Brazil have advanced to the round of 16 after a 2–1 comeback win over Japan, sealed by a stoppage-time goal at Houston Stadium on Monday.
Japan opened the scoring in the 29th minute and held the lead into halftime.
Brazil responded strongly in the second half to turn the match around.
The result marked the first time since 1938 that Brazil had come from behind at halftime to win a knockout-stage match.
