Brandon Blackstock, former talent manager and ex-husband of Kelly Clarkson, has died at 48 after a three-year battle with cancer. His family confirmed he passed peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, and asked for privacy during this time.
The news came shortly after Kelly postponed her Las Vegas residency, citing her ex-husband’s declining health and her need to support their children (River, 11, and Remington, 9).
The couple got married in 2013, split in 2020, and finalised their divorce in 2022.
Blackstock, also known for producing The Kelly Clarkson Show and Blake Shelton Live: It’s All About Tonight, was the son of music manager Narvel Blackstock.
He is also survived by two adult children from a previous marriage.
