The body of a 14-year-old girl was removed from a section of the Rio Cobre in St Catherine this morning.
The body of Demoya Jarrett was fished from the river by local divers.
Reports are that Jarrett went swimming with friends yesterday and reportedly got into difficulties and disappeared into the river.
Police and firefighters were unsuccessful in their efforts to locate the body during a search yesterday.
