Bobby Brown is safe and sound and was NOT hospitalized after reports broke on the Internet yesterday about him being hit by a speeding car.
The clarification on Monday, August 26, comes from his lawyer after Brown’s sister, Leolah, posted a message on social media claiming the singer was smashed by a hit and run driver, and that he was in very bad shape.
The statement from his lawyer Christopher Brown says there are reports circulating that Bobby Brown was hit by a car over the weekend and substantially injured both his legs. The reports are false and Bobby Brown was in Los Angeles enjoying time with his family this weekend.
It continued by saying Mr. Brown was not struck by a vehicle over the weekend and statements from Leolah Brown to the contrary are fake news.
In fact, it is reported that Brown is in great shape and that, “RBRM (Ronnie, Bobby, Ricky & Mike) are preparing to tour Japan and Australia in October 2019 and Bobby Brown will be looking to reconnect with his fans in those countries.”
Bobby’s sister Leolah Brown sent the social media world swirling after she posted a message claiming someone tried to mow down her brother with a car.
It is unclear why Leolah was trying to circulate false information, but Bobby’s team is clear that it never happened.
