Bob Saget’s cause of death revealed
American actor and comedian Bob Saget’s death is said to have stemmed from an accidental blow to the head, his family confirmed in a statement on Wednesday.
“The authorities have determined that Bob passed from head trauma. They have concluded that he accidentally hit the back of his head on something, thought nothing of it and went to sleep…No drugs or alcohol were involved.” the statement said.
The family added that they have been “overwhelmed with the incredible outpouring of love from Bob’s fans, which has been a great comfort to us and for which we are eternally grateful.”
The comedian and former Full House star was found dead on 9 January in a Florida hotel room. He’d performed in the area the night before as part of a stand-up tour.
