Blakely Lively Files for Subpoenas

Share

American actress Blake Lively has filed subpoenas seeking Justin Baldoni's phone and internet records, along with those of his associates, to uncover an alleged smear campaign she claims he orchestrated against her.
The subpoenas target Baldoni, publicist Jennifer Abel, crisis expert Melissa Nathan, and companies like AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Cloudflare, and AOL to gather evidence of the alleged retaliation.
Baldoni’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, criticised the subpoenas as a "massive fishing expedition," asserting they are baseless and will not support Lively’s claims.
Lively’s legal team argues the records are critical to exposing those involved in a campaign that damaged her reputation and family.
The legal battle follows Lively's December 2024 accusations against Baldoni, including sexual harassment and retaliation.
Baldoni denies the allegations and has filed a $250 million defamation lawsuit against The New York Times over a December article alleging involvement in a Hollywood smear operation.
