The daughter of late Reggae Artiste Billy Boyo is taking aim at Dj Khaled, after her father’s song was sampled by the hip hop producer.
According to Billy’s daughter in a video posted online, her father’s estate has not received a payout, after a line from his 1981 hit single “One Spliff A Day” was used on Holy Mountain, which is featured on Khaled’s latest album, Father of Asahd .
Holy Mountain also features Reggae and Dancehall superstars Buju Banton, Sizzla and Mavado.
Billy Boyo was still in his teens when he emerged in the early 1980s.
Boyo, born Billy Rowe, died on October 29, in 2000 after a battle with a brain tumour.
