Jamaicans had their popcorns in hand last night as they watched the 69th Miss Universe competition, cheering for our girl, Miqueal-Symone Williams.

Jamaican sat at the edge of their seats after hearing that Miss Jamaica Universe made it in the top ten, then it quickly took a turn when she didn’t make it to the top 5.

Nevertheless, supporters heaped praises on the beauty queen for her efforts, sending congratulatory messages via social media.

The winner for the night was Miss Mexico, Andrea Meza, who finished ahead of the Brazilian and Peruvian finalists in the pageant.

The competition was hosted by Mario Lopez and actor and model, Olivia Culpo live from the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Hollywood in Florida.

The last Miss Universe pageant was in December 2019 and its winner was South Africa’s first black beauty to win the competition, Zozibini Tunzi. Tunzi has made history by being the longest-reigning Miss Universe.
