Big Tigger has announced that BET will be rebooting its popular Rap City series
“This is not a drill,” Tigger captioned an Instagram picture of him on the revamped set. “This is not a throwback.” BET also released a short teaser that affirmed that Rap City ’21 will be returning.
Few details about the upcoming Rap City series have been released.
However, BET and Viacom have reportedly been toying with the idea for years.
Big Tigger is Rap City’s most memorable host, so it’s only right that he be the one to introduce the show to a new generation.
Also, his announcement comes on the heels of Tigger’s own show with Rapsody on REVOLT called Off Top which also incorporates a freestyle booth, similar to Rap City’s: Tha Basement.
