Directors of the destination event series Best Weekend Ever (BWE) have responded to viral social media videos showing physical altercations at their beach party on Sunday, August 9.
Expressing deep disappointment, organizers strongly condemned the violence and confirmed that the individuals involved have been identified and referred to the relevant authorities for action.
BWE also refuted online rumours surrounding the event’s host, clarifying that the MC drew attention to the altercation solely to alert security personnel and allow them to intervene.
Reaffirming that patron safety remains their top priority, organizers said they are fully cooperating with law enforcement to help prevent similar incidents in the future.
