The prestigious Grammy Awards 2026 ceremony returns this Sunday.

This year’s Best Reggae Album category spotlights some of the genre’s youngest and brightest voices, with nominations for Vybz Kartel’s Heart and Soul, Jesse Royal’s No Place Like Home, Mortimer’s From Within, Lila Iké’s Treasure Self Love, and Keznamdi’s Blxxd & Fiyah.

Vybz Kartel earns his second Grammy nomination, following last year’s nod for Party With Me. Jesse Royal also secures his second nomination, after being recognized in 2022 for Royal. Mortimer, Keznamdi, and Lila Iké make their Grammy debut in the category.

Ahead of the ceremony, Lila Iké is set to perform at the Grammys’ opening ceremony and walk the red carpet as a nominee. The Second Chance vocalist shared the milestone earlier this week via Instagram, writing, “I remember the little girl who loved singing and decided she wanted to be an artiste. Attending the GRAMMYs was a very big dream of hers. Now, not only do I get to walk the red carpet as a nominee, but I’m also honoured to be performing at the opening ceremony. God is amazing.”

The 2026 Grammy Awards take place this Sunday in Los Angeles.
