Bajan students resumes face-to- face classes

It’s the first day back to face to face for hundreds of Barbadian students today.

Education Minister Kay McConney, Chief Education Officer Dr Ramona Archer-Bradshaw, along with a team from the Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Training visited several of the schools plants this morning.

Meanwhile, The Ministry of Education has implemented a Learning Development and Examinations Success Preparation Scheme for students who deferred last year’s Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) exams.

That was disclosed by the Education Minister yesterday during an online service of thanksgiving and renewal, ahead of today’s Phase 1 resumption of face-to-face classes.

According to the Education Minister, they will be redoubling their efforts to assist students in addressing the learning loss that has occurred during the necessary interruption of the face-to-face school environment.
