In 2020, Drake spent a lot of time teasing his long-awaited album “Certified Lover Boy”. While an official announcement has yet to be made, a release date has leaked from an unexpected source—Charlie Puth.
The singer-songwriter claims to know when the long-awaited album is dropping. In a now-deleted tweet, Charlie announced that Certified Lover Boy would drop on Jan. 21. He tweeted “Drakes dropping on the 21st.”
Some fans questioned how Puth would know such information, speculating that he may have contributed to the project. The two have not previously worked together, but Puth has shared his thoughts on Drake’s music and covered his hit “Hotline Bling” with Kehlani in 2015.
The rapper did indeed announce that the album would be released sometime this month but did not give us a specific date.
With only two Fridays left in January, we are hoping that this long-anticipated project will be released sooner rather than later.
However, this is not the first leak from the project as the single ‘Laugh Now Cry Later’ was also leaked.
