Carnival band, Yard Mas has announced Anna-Lisa Guthrie as its Creative Director for the upcoming 2026 season.
The announcement comes ahead of the official band launch set for next month.
According to the band, a multidisciplinary creative celebrated for her innovative approach to costume design and storytelling through art, Anna-Lisa’s appointment signals Yard Mas’ continued commitment to showcasing authentic Jamaican talent on the global Carnival stage.
Andrew Bellamy, Managing Director, Yard Mas Carnival, expressed confidence in the band’s choice in the newly minted Creative Director. He noted that Anna-Lisa’s rise in the design world has been impressive, consistent and remarkable.
Meantime, the 2026 theme for Yard Mas is expected to be released in with a hybrid launch that epitomizes Caribbean art and design translated into mas.
