Cricket West Indies have named a strong 18-man provisional squad for their bumper T20I summer.
Andre Russell, one of the most sought-after T20 players in the world, has been named in the squad and the selectors have also welcomed back Shimron Hetmyer.
Russell last featured for West Indies last year in March in Sri Lanka whereas Hetmyer’s most recent appearance came in New Zealand in a T20I as well. The youngster was dropped earlier this year for the series against Sri Lanka on fitness grounds.
Sheldon Cottrell, Oshane Thomas and Hayden Walsh Jr. also return to the squad.
