Vybz Kartel has taken home Best Caribbean Music Act at the MOBO Awards 2026, securing his first competitive win at the UK-based ceremony just a year after receiving its Impact Award.
The Fever deejay came out on top in a heavily Jamaican category, beating out Masicka, Shenseea, Lila Iké, Ayetian and Yung Bredda.
Kartel was also nominated for Best International Act, though that award went to Ayra Starr.
The win reflects a strong run over the eligibility period, which included his 2025 album Heart & Soul along with a series of hit singles and visuals.
Elsewhere on the night, Shenseea also hit the MOBO stage with a performance, while UK singer Olivia Dean emerged as one of the biggest winners, taking multiple major awards as the ceremony marked its 30th anniversary.
