The team of recording Artiste Alkaline has responded to statements made about his accessibility to the media.
According to Alkaline's publicist, Ricardo Shuzzr, a prominent Jamaican entertainment opinionist made yet another attempt to push the misleading narrative that recording artist Alkaline is inaccessible.
He said this assertion is simply unfounded.
The entertainer's Publicist said for years, specific figures in the Jamaican entertainment media landscape have engaged in a reckless campaign to pit artists against one another, all for social hype and clickbait that fuels their ratings.
He said these opinionists, who run subpar platforms and receive unwarranted acclaim for their "popular" programs, do not embody the principles of trustworthy journalism.
Alkaline's career as an independent artist has been fueled by his Vendetta fanbase's unconditional love and support he says.
As such, Shuzzr notes that Alkaline is consciously choosing to navigate his path, free from the constraints of misguided media narratives and clickbait to garner ratings.
