Congrats to Dancehall artiste Alkaline! He recently received his Billboard plaque for his 2016 album, ‘New Level Unlocked.’
‘New Level Unlocked’ sold 741 copies in the first week and debuted No. 1 on the Reggae Albums chart on April 15, 2016, exactly five years ago. The album spent 18 weeks on the charts.
It was the first Dancehall album to accomplish that feat since Shaggy’s ‘Summer In Kingston’ EP in 2011.
The album was executive produced and released by DJ Frass. The 15 track compilation featured standout songs such as ‘Champion Boy‘, ‘ATM‘ and ‘Conquer The World‘.
