Jamaican swimming ace Alia Atkinson won two medals on the first day of the UANA Olympic qualifiers, currently being staged in Florida.
Atkinson won the 50 metre breaststroke in 31.69 seconds, but had to settle for the silver medal in the 50 metre butterfly in 27.03 seconds.
That race was won by Athena Kovacs of Mexico in 27.01 seconds.
Atkinson represents the South Florida Aquatics Club.
