The country recorded more than a thousand new COVID-19 cases over a two week period this month.
According to data from the Health and Wellness Ministry, 1,106 new cases were recorded between January 10 and 24.
Speaking during a COVID-19 press briefing yesterday (Mon), Chief Medical Officer Dr. Jacqueline Bisasor McKenzie said this represents an increase in cases, compared to previous weeks.
She pointed out that Manchester, which is now under enhanced COVID-19 measures, contributed to a fraction of those cases.
