Dancehall star Aidonia’s household was unexpectedly disrupted this morning (October 3).
At around 5 am, under a signed warrant, during a targeted operation within the St. Andrew North division members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force carried out a raid at his home.
The "Frsh Drop" artiste was at home with his wife, Megan, young son and another relative during the search.
Despite the interruption, nothing illegal was found on the property.
Aidonia's brother and manager Lav "Lalo" Lawrence, sought to clarify the situation by explaining that it was procedural and not to be misconstrued as anything else.
“No one was arrested, nothing illegal was found. One family member was taken by the police to the station to check if there were any infractions against him, that’s it,” Lawrence said.
Despite the disruption, Aidonia has remained focused on his music.
The "4th Genna" is actively promoting his latest single, “Pit-A-Pat”, which was produced by Stephen “Di Genius” McGregor.
The official video was released earlier this week and has already surpassed 250K views on YouTube.
