Last Saturday, Sabina Park came alive with energy as fans, friends, and the music industry filled the space to celebrate 20 years of the 4th Genna Boss Aidonia.
The Romeich Entertainment-produced event opened its gates at 9 p.m., and from then until Aidonia took the stage around 4 a.m., fans were treated to performances from industry heavyweights including RajahWild, Valiant, Jahshii, Vanessa Bling, and Ding Dong, who recently released his debut album From Ding Dong To World Ding.
Capelton, the night's headliner, ignited Sabina Park before Aidonia took the stage. Aidonia carried patrons through his 20 years' worth of tracks that cemented him as one of Dancehall’s greats. His set included many notable moments, including an emotional rendition of Badman Salute, dedicated to late friends and his son, Khalif, who passed in 2019. Another buzzworthy moment came when iconic producer Di Genius hit the stage, mixing riddims live as the 'Breeze Off' deejay performed their collaborations.
