UK fans of dancehall heavyweight Aidonia were left disappointed in August when what was meant to be a triumphant musical return to the country at Sandz Music Festival London was cut short because of security concerns. Months later, he is expected to make it up to them at the exclusive Caribbean Rocks Festival at Troxy.
The pre-mature ending of Sandz was out of the artiste’s control as multiple crowd breaches caused venue officials to step in. Aidonia had issued a public apology on Instagram, assuring fans that he “GOTTA MAKE THIS UP TO YOU” and “GOTTA MAKE IT RIGHT”, ending the message with “NUFF LOVE”.
The artiste’s appearance at Caribbean Rocks Festival was intended to be a singular show, but has since been upgraded to a 3-venue tour, including a show in Birmingham and Bristol following the London show on November 28.
The shows make up Aidonia’s return to the UK this year after 18years away.
