Jamaican actress Ruth Samuels, known for her performance in the popular Bashment Granny production, has died.
The 64-year-old died in Florida where she had been residing.
Samuels reportedly suffered from a heart complication and at times experienced difficulty walking as a result of diabetes.
Samuels has appeared in a number of productions including her supporting role in the 1988 hit Obeah Wedding.
She also played in Unda Mi Nose and Mama Man.
